The Employers' Choice Award is the ceremony where a year of employer voting is brought together and published as the Graduate Employability Index: a recognition of the universities that employers actually hire from, decided by employers themselves rather than by nomination or self-submission.

How It’s Decided

Chosen by employers, not applied for.

Universities cannot nominate themselves for this award. Employers are asked which institutions their best hires actually came from, and the results are what the Index and the ceremony are built on.

Employer-led
The vote comes from organisations that hire graduates, not from the universities themselves.
Annual cycle
Results are gathered through the year and announced at the ceremony each Raya season.
