Every cycle is officiated by Guests of Honour drawn from the Ministry of Higher Education and senior university leadership, an unbroken line since the inaugural ceremony.
Universities from across Malaysia send delegations each year: public research, focus, technical and private institutions, represented by Vice Chancellors, Deputy VCs and career services leads. During the 2020 and 2021 pandemic cycles the vote ran in full and winners were announced, without an in-person gala.
Its form takes after a scroll, an old symbol of wisdom and knowledge: commanding in black, lifted by gold, and curved to mark the relationship between tomorrow's leaders and the organisations that nurture them.

A circular mark bordered in gold, centred on the GCA insignia. The circle is the form of a seal of approval, historically the final mark of authentication on a document of weight.
Where the trophy sits in the boardroom, the Seal travels: careers websites, graduate recruitment collateral, email signatures and career fair backdrops. It is granted to every organisation voted Champion in the preceding cycle, licensed for the award year shown on the mark.
